checklist run

Run the publishing checklist for a server.

mcp-use checklist run [--branch <branch>] [--no-wait] [--verbose] [options]

Behavior

Retain the run ID when using --no-wait, then inspect it with checklist get. A completed check does not publish the server.

Output

Results are grouped into Protocol, Tools, MCP Apps, Client compatibility, and Policy review, with additional categories shown when returned by Cloud. Passing checks are summarized; warnings, failures, skipped checks, and fix guidance remain visible. --verbose includes every passing check and full finding details.

The score uses the checks' severity weights. Policy concerns are called out separately from technical warnings. Client Readiness shows Cloud's reported ChatGPT and Claude readiness; it is not a promise of directory approval. A completed run can still contain findings that need attention.
